The New York Gamma Alumni Board is an independent, non-profit corporation established to serve and benefit the alumni, volunteers, and undergraduates of the New York University chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon.
Given that our undergraduate chapter membership turns over every four years, the alumni board provides continuity by maintaining a long-term perspective. Specifically, we ensure the long-term growth and success of the chapter by mentoring undergraduates, cultivating alumni, managing assets, maintaining corporate health, engaging university officials, and serving as a resource for parents.
Our volunteers help shape the direction of the chapter to ensure it remains a premier student organization at NYU, but we cannot do it alone. If you are one of our stakeholders below, we encourage you to reach out to learn more about our efforts.
A Lifetime Responsibility of Brotherhood
The Alumni Board maintains an active dialogue with NYU and national SigEp alumni in order to help build a lasting affinity for Sigma Phi Epsilon. With strong, alumni-focused communications, combined with access to annual alumni events, the alumni board works to ensure a lifetime experience consistent with SigEp's values of Virtue, Diligence, and Brotherly Love.
Your Partner in Education
The Alumni Board keeps open communication with university officials and campus community leaders. As a reliable partner with the NYU Offices of Greek Life and Student Affairs, the Alumni Board helps ensure that SigEp continues to establish itself not only as the top fraternity on campus, but also as an exemplary organization dedicated to the academic and professional success of its members.
Reinforcing the Standards You Expect
Positive relationships with parents and family is a critical component to the development and growth of the SigEp chapter members. The alumni volunteers, each a pillar in his own professional community, act as mentors and advocates for the brothers, as well as a channel for communication regarding the progress of members and of the chapter as a whole. We offer our members a support network that parents can rely on for accountability to shared values.
